Rastafari
"We don't deal with religion, because religion is division and war."
To Nasio, Rastafari means everything, all things. It is his conviction, his strength and his groundation. Nasio respects all religion but is wary of beliefs: "People believe and get deceived". Nasio does not believe in Rastafari. He knows it. He knows in his heart of hearts that Emperor Haile Sellasie I of Ethiopia is Earth's rightful ruler.
 Nasio does not consider himself a vegetarian but an ‘Italist'. He eats everything that the earth provides and respects all life by not eating animals or animal products. "Just as I protect my own life, I protect other creature's lives". In the mountains of Dominica, Nasio grew up on a "poor man's diet", he and his family ate the fruits of the land. As an adult, he continued to eat pure ‘ital' food, using herbs as medicine and holding ganja as a sacrament.
 Nasio has long ‘Bongo Natty' dreadlocks because that is his most natural state. His ‘bongo natty' locks are like antennas, they bring him signals and frequencies, helping him pick up energies circulating around him. His locks are his roots, his identity, and he wears them like a badge of honor.
